And I chose an office with a magnificent view on 37th floor at International Plaza, Tanjong Pagar. It was considered as a small sized office with merely 1500sq.ft. However it fits my business strategy as a start-up of a freelance IT consultant firm with manpower of about six. The rental is quite affordable too, well below the market-rate. I particularly like the furnishing that is so posh – cherry and walnut wood made of European style fittings. It has its unique class of elegance in contrast of metal-and-glass modern design. The view is magnificent too. You can see most of the landmark buildings in Singapore, such as UOB towers, SIA building, DBS, Maybank and Capital Tower from the height of 37 storey. Sentosa Colonial Bungalow

Humongous, looks damn old on the outside but the interior was top notch. it had a very very nice view, out of the balcony u can see Siloso Beach. But other then that the surrounding was very very dark and deserted. Its near to the Sentosa holiday resorts (those with air shelter built in front of them), in fact they were in the same area. I guess some of u guys who visited there should know wad i mean by DARK and SPOOKY.. So we few guys decided to stay for a full week ourselves, the adults left after the 4th day cause they grew bored of mahjong and TV, and being the adventurous pre-teens we were, we decided to explore the surrounding areas. Changi Beach Incident

They are the least superstitious so when they related the encounter to me. I knew they are not pulling my legs. My friend, an avid angler, would often go around the beaches to recce for good fishing spots whenever he has time. So, there was this one afternoon he happened to pass by Changi beach (the stretch along the air cargo complex) and decided to go take a look. It was low tide and part of the sea bed is visible. As he walked along the beach, he spotted 2 flower pots lying on the sea bed. He decided to take! a closer look and on examination, found those pots were in perfect condition and of very nice design too. Haunted Punggol Flat

For those who are not familiar, this is in Punggol Sengkang region in Singapore. Alvin and his girlfriend of 3 years, Qianrong balloted for a flat in this area as their parents were staying nearby and when they finally got a queue number less than 50, they were exhilarated .. They went to 2 different fengshui master to ask them to help select a unit in one block that they were aiming.. As the block had different columns, it also meant all orientation the flat’s main door facing were different. Ended up each of the master gave 5-6 different units and all did not have any overlapping units.. Ended up they got the general feedback from both master, like which orientation should the flat be facing , example like facing north, etc etc, and also factor in like sunrise light...

Tekong Kampung Unum

I heard several stories about my company (it was a company which is directly beside the sea) but I did not experienced anything during the first three months of my BMT. I was posted to SISPEC to undergo training after BMT. SISPEC was still in Tekong during that time and I was posted to a company that is at the far end of SISPEC (Echo/Foxtrot/Golf). Not going to share which company I was at. Anyway, each bunk/section only had 10 beds instead of the 12 beds in BMTC. I was assigned Bed 6. Imagine you are standing at the entrance of the bunk, there are 5 beds on your left and 5 beds on your right, with Bed 1 nearest to you on your left and Bed 5 furthest away on your left. Similarly, Bed 6 is the bed furthest away on your right. This meant that my bed was right beside the window and right opposite the forest. First week of training passed a...
